I recently got an OLED monitor, the ASUS ROG Strix XG32UCWMG, and while I loved the visuals, I noticed that gaming wasn't as smooth as on my old IPS panel monitor, even though both have a 240Hz refresh rate and are G-Sync compatible. I switched back to my old monitor and it felt way smoother. I thought maybe it was just a one-off issue, so I bought another OLED, the MSI MAG 272UP QD-OLED X24, but I'm having the same stuttering problem when G-Sync is enabled. I've spent hours tweaking settings and testing it with the Nvidia G-Sync tech demo, but nothing seems to work. I really like the look of OLED panels, but this gaming experience is not enjoyable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried using a different DisplayPort cable? It sounds like there might be an issue with the signal. Your stuttering could be caused by a faulty cable rather than the monitors themselves, especially since you’ve tested two different OLEDs. I have a 4K 240Hz OLED, and it runs super smoothly without any issues!

I actually used the cable that came with both monitors and also tried my old one that I know works well. They all seem to give me the same G-SYNC problems. The refresh rate counter on the monitor goes crazy even when I lock the game's FPS.
