Experiencing Game Lag After Switching to KDE Neon

I've recently made the switch from Windows 11 to KDE Neon and I'm dealing with lag in my games. I attempted to install the latest driver for my NVIDIA RTX 3060, but I think I messed up the instructions from the tutorial I was following. My games are somewhat improved now, but the graphics quality has really dropped. Any advice on what I can do?

What NVIDIA driver are you currently using? Some of the high-end NVIDIA GPUs tend to struggle with the latest drivers on certain Linux distributions. Many users have found that reverting to an earlier driver version helps with performance issues and reduces glitches in their games.

I'm using the Linux x64 Display Driver 580.105.08 right now.

You might want to check out the migration resources in the wiki, as they can provide useful tips. Also, ensure you’re using the root user only when necessary and avoid third-party repositories unless absolutely required. Always verify your ISOs after downloading to avoid issues!

Consider trying an Ubuntu-based distribution instead. I've found the graphics performance on Ubuntu to be smoother compared to Arch systems.

I noticed similar issues, like random dots on the screen in games. It seems to happen mainly when I zoom out. My desktop looks fine, but in-game it gets messy. Anyone else experienced this?
