Experiencing Glitches with My Samsung Tizen TV – Need Help!

I recently purchased a Samsung Tizen TV in January, and it was working perfectly until last week. Now, it's behaving oddly, as if someone is constantly pressing buttons on the remote. It pauses, opens menus, closes apps, and even turns on by itself, which is super frustrating! I've changed the remote batteries, checked the power cord, and ensured no IR interference, yet the issue persists even without batteries in the remote. I'm considering buying a new TV, but before I do, has anyone else faced this problem? Did using an Apple TV or Roku stick help? I'd appreciate any other suggestions on how to fix this issue!

Since the problem persists even with the remote batteries taken out, I would rule out the remote as the issue. It's possible that the TV’s control button is stuck or that a connected device is sending faulty commands through HDMI-CEC. Try disconnecting all HDMI devices and your network for a bit to see if the TV still acts up. If it behaves normally, you might have a CEC problem. If not, you may need to consider it a hardware issue and look into warranty options.

Have you checked if any devices connected to your TV could be causing interference? Sometimes the TV’s own buttons can be the culprit, or you might be experiencing interference from a nearby Bluetooth device. Have you tried resetting the TV back to factory settings? That can sometimes solve weird issues like this!

It really sounds like some sort of interference is happening! Kinda makes you wonder if a neighbor’s kid is outside with a similar remote, right? I’ve thought the same thing myself,
