I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 7 7700 to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but I've started encountering lag issues while playing online games like GTA 5 RP, TruckersMP, Rust, and PUBG. Initially, I thought the problem was with the processor, so I returned it and upgraded to a 9800X3D, but the lag persists. I've tried various Windows versions and tweaked numerous BIOS settings, including updating it to the latest version as well as a beta version, but nothing seems to help. All my PC component tests come back fine, so I'm at a bit of a loss. I'm considering replacing my motherboard and RAM, but I'm wondering if there's a fix that doesn't require replacement. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "lags"? Are you talking about frame drops or something like stuttering? Because if FPS is fine, it could be some other issue unrelated to the CPU.
Have you tried turning off EXPO in the BIOS? Sometimes that can cause instability issues. It's worth a shot before making any hardware changes!
Yes, I did try running with full stock settings at 4800 MHz, but it didn't make a difference.
Replacing the motherboard could help. I've seen similar issues resolved by switching to a different board. Just be sure it's compatible with your CPU.
I'm actually considering getting an ASRock B850 Pro-A. Do you think that's a good choice?
Have you disabled X3D mode in the BIOS? It can limit the cores, leading to performance issues. It's something easy to check!
Yes, I made sure to turn off X3D mode.

Yeah, I'm experiencing stuttering during gameplay, while FPS itself seems okay. I've attached a photo for reference.
