I recently transitioned from playing on a PS5 to gaming on my PC, but now I'm facing issues with lag and a blurry vision while playing any game. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 5500 and an RTX 5060 with 8 GB of RAM. I've tried decreasing the quality settings, but it hasn't made any difference. What steps can I take to improve my gaming experience?

Resolution settings are typically found in the ‘display,’ ‘video,’ or ‘graphics’ menu of the game. You'll want to match your game’s resolution to your monitor. Start with all settings on minimum and then gradually increase them until your FPS drops below 60; then dial back one setting. If you’re playing on a 4K TV that you used for your PS5, consider switching to 1080p for better performance.
Have you installed the latest graphics drivers? Also, double-check that your desktop resolution matches your monitor's resolution – that can sometimes fix display issues.
For the lag issue, make sure to go into the settings of your game. If there’s a resolution scale option, set it to 100%. Also, try turning off bloom and motion blur features. Checking your anti-aliasing settings can help too!
First, check if your HDMI cable is connected to your graphics card instead of the motherboard. That could be causing some display issues.

Just a heads up, the Ryzen 5 5500 doesn’t have integrated graphics, so if it’s not hooked up correctly, you might not see anything on your monitor.
