Experiencing Micro Freezes While Gaming – Need Help!

I've built my own gaming PC, and it runs well for the most part. However, I've been facing annoying micro freezes during gameplay, especially in Valorant, where everything freezes for about half a second while the audio continues to play, and then it snaps back to normal. I initially thought it was a temperature issue, so I reapplied thermal paste, which helped a bit. I've tried tweaking memory settings and set my power plan to high performance, but the freezes persist. I'm at a loss as to what could be causing this. My PC specs are as follows:

- CPU: Intel Core i9-14900KF (24 Cores / 32 Threads)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- Motherboard: MSI Z790 Gaming Plus WiFi
- RAM: 32GB DDR5 (Running at 4800 MHz)
- Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
- OS: Windows 11 Home (64-bit).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What about your power supply? Does it have enough output for your system's needs? A PSU with a higher max output rating might be necessary if you're planning to upgrade further. Also, are you connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet? Wired connections are usually more stable for gaming.

I'm currently using Ethernet with an 850W PSU.

Have you checked if your RAM is properly configured? Make sure to enable XMP in your BIOS if you haven't done that yet—it can help with stability and performance. Sometimes I've seen it lead to significant improvements in gaming.

I tried accessing the BIOS to enable XMP, but it just wouldn't let me do it. Any tips on how to solve that?
