Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating screen tearing issue while playing Overwatch 2 after upgrading to a Radeon 9070XT. The tearing is particularly noticeable in the HUD, and I've also had to manually set the game's resolution to 21:9 since it defaults to 16:9. Additionally, the lines within the game appear jagged instead of sharp. Here are my specs:
- Monitor: Alienware AW3425DW
- GPU: Radeon 9070XT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
- RAM: Corsair CMK32GX4M2D3600C18 x2
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING
I have HDR & Auto HDR enabled in Windows, and I'm running a clean install of Windows 11 with unchanged Radeon Adrenaline settings, set to HYPR-RX. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Check your monitor's refresh rate settings in Windows and ensure it's set to the maximum. In Overwatch, try setting the refresh rate to match. If that doesn't help, set a max refresh rate in the AMD driver app. If all else fails, you might want to enable Vsync, but I get that input lag can be a problem.
I figured out that switching Overwatch 2 to Quality mode instead of using HYPR-RX fixed the tearing problem for me. However, I'd prefer to keep using HYPR-RX if possible. Does anyone know what settings might be causing the tearing?
I did some digging on HYPR-RX. If it enables frame generation, that might be where the issue lies. Try disabling that feature in the Radeon Adrenaline settings if you can.

I confirmed it's set to 240hz in Windows and also in Overwatch 2. Vsync isn't a good option for me due to the input lag it introduces.
