Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC to Windows 11 and upgraded my graphics card and drivers as well. Now I'm encountering some frustrating DirectX issues. Whenever I launch games like Rocket League, it tries to install DirectX, and then the screen goes black and the game crashes. I've tried installing DirectX manually but keep running into errors. Do I need to completely reset and reinstall Windows to fix this? By the way, I've already used DDU for the GPU uninstall and updated to the latest BIOS.

It sounds like you're dealing with some classic DirectX troubles! Before you think about wiping your system, make sure you're getting your graphics drivers directly from Nvidia's site. It can also help to reinstall the game causing the issues. Sometimes, a single faulty installation can cause all sorts of chaos. Just a thought!
I've been there too! I had a nightmare with DirectX crashes after swapping my GPU. I toyed with all kinds of fixes until I finally gave in and did a clean reinstall of Windows 11. It seemed drastic, but it cleared out the corrupted system files that were causing all the issues. I got my Windows key from a reputable site to ensure everything was legit, and it fixed my problems instantly. Just make sure to back up your data first!
