I'm building my first gaming PC and would love some feedback! Here's my current parts list, all sourced from PCPartPicker:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core ($163.99)
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB ($35.01)
- **Motherboard**: Asus PRIME B550M-A WIFI II Micro ATX ($99.99)
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 ($174.99)
- **Storage**: Patriot P300 512 GB NVME SSD ($59.99)
- **Video Card**: Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB ($399.99)
- **Case**: Corsair 3500X ARGB Mid Tower ($89.99)
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A650BN 650 W 80+ Bronze ($60.34)
- **Monitor**: MSI MAG 275QF 27" 1440p 180 Hz ($179.99)

**Total Cost:** $1264.28

I'm planning to play games like League of Legends, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla at 1440p. I hope to get this setup for my birthday next year! I'd really appreciate any advice or ratings you have for a newbie like me. Thanks in advance!

Your build looks solid for a first attempt! If you're open to some changes, consider going for an AM5 setup with a 7600x and investing in a 1TB SSD since RDR2 alone takes up a huge chunk of space. And if your case doesn't come with fans, be sure to budget for that too!

I decided to upgrade to the 7600x and switched to a B650 motherboard. I also got the Montech Sky Two case because I heard it comes with fans built-in, plus I realized I definitely need that 1TB SSD after checking game sizes!

Honestly, for this kind of budget, I would suggest looking for a prebuilt system. You might find something like this Skytech Gaming desktop at Best Buy, which could offer better value for your money. It features more powerful specs for a similar price.

I found a setup on PCPartPicker that's slightly more expensive but packs a bigger punch. You might want to check it out!
