I'm putting together my first PC and would love a sanity check on the parts. The build is: Ryzen 7 7700X, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB 360, Gigabyte B850 EAGLE WIFI7 ICE, 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6000 CL36, BIWIN Black Opal NV7400 1TB SSD, Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16GB, Corsair FRAME 4500X RS-R ARGB case, Corsair RM650e 650W modular PSU, and a 27-inch 1440p 200Hz monitor. Is the 7700X noticeably better than the 7600X when it costs only about €30 more, or would the cheaper CPU make more sense for this graphics card? Also, would black PSU cables look awkward in an otherwise white build? My RAM is already black, and I'm considering a black version of the graphics card if it's significantly cheaper, even though it has two fans instead of three.

At 1440p with an RX 9060 XT, you’ll usually be limited by the GPU rather than the CPU, so the gaming difference between the 7600X and 7700X should be small. The 7700X is still a reasonable choice for the extra cores, especially if you plan to stream, edit, or run heavier applications, but the 7600X—or even a 7500F if available at a good price—would be enough for gaming. The bigger performance upgrade would generally come from putting the savings toward a stronger graphics card, if one is available for a similar price.
I also noticed that the RX 9060 XT and RX 9070 GRE are priced similarly where I’m shopping, which makes the 9070 GRE worth investigating if that price is accurate.
Check the memory pricing before buying. If a DDR5-6000 CL30 kit from a reputable manufacturer costs about the same as the CL36 kit, it would be the better pick because it has lower latency. Just make sure it’s a matched 2×16GB kit and that the motherboard supports its advertised speed.
I hadn’t heard of that manufacturer before, so I’ll compare the reviews, warranty, and compatibility rather than choosing it based only on the timings.
Black cables won’t hurt the build unless you personally want a completely uniform white theme. A little contrast can look intentional, especially since the RAM is already black. I wouldn’t pay extra for a white version of the same power supply just for cable color. The black graphics card is also fine if it saves a meaningful amount; prioritize its price, cooler quality, warranty, and performance over matching the case perfectly.
That makes sense. I’d rather keep the money for performance than pay extra for white cables, and I don’t mind having a few black accents.

I’m choosing the white parts because I like the look, so I’m mainly trying to check whether there’s a better component choice rather than redesigning the whole budget. The 7600X was my original choice, so dropping back to it is fine if the system will be GPU-limited.
