I just finished building my first PC and connected it to a 1080p Vizio smart TV with an HDMI cable plugged into the Intel Arc B580 graphics card. The system powers on, but the TV says there is no signal, and I cannot even get into the BIOS. The motherboard's BOOT debug light is also illuminated. The system uses an MSI B550 motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600, and Arc B580, and I plan to install Bazzite from a USB drive. What should I check to get video output and clear the BOOT light?

The BOOT light usually means the board cannot find a bootable operating system. Since the SSD is empty, that can be expected, but it should not prevent the BIOS from appearing. You do not need to select the SSD yet; once video works, enter BIOS with Delete and choose the Bazzite installer USB as the boot device.
Reseat the graphics card and confirm its power cable is connected if the card requires one. Remove it, reinstall it in the motherboard’s top full-length PCIe slot until the retention clip clicks, and check that the card is fully supported and level. Also verify that the motherboard has the required BIOS version for the Ryzen 5 5600 and that the B580 is receiving power.
Try a minimal startup: disconnect extra USB devices and storage drives, leave one RAM stick installed in the recommended slot, and reset the CMOS. Then power on and wait a minute or two for memory training. Check the motherboard manual for the meaning of each debug LED; if the VGA light appears instead of BOOT, focus on the GPU, power, and display connection.
Start with the basic display checks: select the exact HDMI input on the TV, try another HDMI port or cable, and set the TV’s input label to PC if that option is available. Also make sure the cable is connected to the B580, not the motherboard. The Ryzen 5 5600 has no integrated graphics, so the motherboard’s video outputs will not work.

A TV can sometimes be picky during the first boot, so trying another input or even a different display temporarily is useful for ruling that out.
