Driver 616.92 causes my PC to lose display, show a black screen, and reboot while gaming. I tried rolling back to three different driver versions, changing the refresh rate from 144 Hz to 120 Hz and 60 Hz, and disabling Multi-Plane Overlay. Since similar crashes seem to affect different GPUs, I'm unsure whether the driver is really the cause. I also reset Windows 11 and installed an earlier driver, but the computer now crashes even when opening Chrome. What should I check next?

Try booting into Safe Mode and using Display Driver Uninstaller to completely remove the graphics driver before installing a known-stable version. Since the system still crashes after a Windows reset and even during light use, don’t assume the driver is the only problem. Check GPU and CPU temperatures, power-supply connections, RAM stability, and Windows Event Viewer for hardware or display-driver errors. If possible, test with another graphics card or power supply, and return any overclock or undervolt settings to default.
I already booted into Safe Mode and used DDU, but the crashes continued afterward.
