I can't open the Gmail website in a browser on my laptop. Other websites seem to work, so I'm wondering whether Gmail is experiencing an outage or if the problem is local to my setup. I'm using Brave browser. Has anyone else encountered this, or found a fix?

If other websites load normally and only Gmail is affected, it may be a browser or local connection issue rather than a widespread outage. Try opening Gmail in another browser, using a private window, disabling Brave extensions, and clearing Gmail’s site data. Checking an outage-status website can also confirm whether there’s a broader problem.
Gmail is loading normally for me in the UK, so this doesn’t appear to be a general outage. Restarting the browser, testing a private window, or temporarily disabling shields and extensions in Brave would be good first steps.
It’s only happening with Gmail, and I’m using Brave. I’ll test it in another browser and check the extensions.
