I have a fairly basic PC that a friend built for me. It has Windows 10, a GeForce GTX 1660 Super, a 10th-generation Intel Core i5, 32GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It worked normally for more than a year, but recently the TV stopped receiving a signal. When I turn the computer on, the graphics card fans seem to stop one at a time after a few seconds. I have already unplugged the PC and tried another HDMI port, but I'm not sure what else to check. Could the graphics card be failing, or is there another likely cause?

The exact parts matter here, especially the power supply model and whether the card’s power cable is connected. First, shut the PC down, switch off and unplug the power supply, then remove and firmly reseat the graphics card. Check that its PCIe power connector is fully inserted. Also try another HDMI cable and make sure the TV is set to the correct input.
