I'm upgrading my PC and Newegg is offering roughly $140 for my current memory through its trade-in program. The kit is TeamGroup Vulcan Z, 32GB total in a 2x16GB configuration, DDR4-3200. Has anyone used Newegg's RAM trade-in service, and did the quoted value and overall process work out as expected?

It may be worth checking prices on a general used-hardware marketplace before accepting the trade-in. However, based on a quick comparison, the $140 Newegg offer appears to be roughly in line with what similar kits are selling for, so the convenience could make it worthwhile.

The exact capacity, stick count, memory type, and speed make a big difference when estimating the value. With a 32GB 2x16GB DDR4-3200 kit, that information should be enough to compare the offer accurately.
