Has anyone used plastic split-loom tubing to organize and tidy the cables inside a PC case? I build PCs and am always looking for better cable-management methods, so I'm wondering whether loom tubing works well in practice or if braided sleeving and spiral wrap are better choices. I'd also be interested in any advice about avoiding overly tight bends, blocking components, or making future cleaning and upgrades difficult.

Yes, sleeving is commonly used for PC cables. Braided or woven sleeving usually looks cleaner, but split loom, spiral wrap, or other cable-management accessories can work perfectly well if you like the result.
Split loom and spiral wrap have been used for PC cable management for a long time. Braided mesh such as Techflex is another option, and some styles can be fitted around cables without removing the connectors. It tends to look cleaner while still keeping the cable bundle organized.
