I'm trying to set up my Lenovo P16v2 with the Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 Workstation dock, but I'm facing a problem. The network connection doesn't work until after I log into Windows, which is weird because any other devices (like my mouse and keyboard) connected to the dock work fine during boot-up. This only happens with Windows 11; if I switch to Windows 10, it connects perfectly. Have you checked the BIOS for any Thunderbolt security settings? Try setting it to 'No Security' or 'User Authorization' to see if that changes anything.
It does sound like the Thunderbolt device isn't being recognized until after login. Double-check the BIOS settings for Thunderbolt and also look into your TPM settings.
