I'm currently using Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon, and I'm having a frustrating issue with printing. I can scan documents just fine, but when I try to print something, it doesn't even show up in the printing queue. The printer connects easily because I can scan, but I'm really stuck on how to solve this printing problem since it never enters the queue.

Also, nobody’s asked yet – what printer are you using? Knowing the make and model can help since printing on Linux often depends on the specific drivers. Have you checked the printer's brand website for Linux driver support? Sometimes, you can find solutions or additional drivers that may help.
Hey! Just to troubleshoot further, can you share what apps you've tried to print from? For example, did you attempt printing from Firefox, LibreOffice, or any PDF readers? It might help narrow down where the issue lies.
It’s important to know some specs about your system related to this issue. Can you share your Linux Mint version, kernel details, RAM, and CPU information? This might help pinpoint the problem.

Good call! I'm using an HP LaserJet Pro MFP. I've checked the website but I'm not sure if they have specific Linux drivers.
