Help! Black Screen and Spinning Wheel After Recent Update – Any Fixes?

After applying the preview update KB5077241, several computers in our office are stuck on a black screen with a spinning blue circle following a reboot. We've tried reverting the changes without reinstalling but haven't had much luck. One machine that had a restore point failed to revert successfully, and attempting to uninstall the latest update didn't resolve the issue either. Out of over 400 computers, only 7 are experiencing this problem, but we have roughly 65 more waiting to reboot after the update. Is anyone else encountering this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Have you tried uninstalling KB5077241? If you attempted it but got stuck because the machines won’t boot, that complicates things. And have you checked if the affected machines can boot in Safe Mode with Networking or low-resolution video mode? That might help you get back into the system to fix things.

Did you really roll out a preview update on 400 PCs all at once? That's bold!

Yeah, the update cleared both of our testing phases before going live. But now it seems like a mistake.

I've avoided preview updates in production environments, so I can't relate directly to your issue. If you can't access Safe Mode to uninstall the update, that's a tough spot to be in—definitely a lesson learned!
