I'm having a major issue where my Excel desktop app won't print to a network printer. It started when I tried to fix it using various methods: updating the software, performing an online repair for Office, rolling back updates, removing and reinstalling the printer, and even deleting the ports. I've rebooted the switch and the printer, reset the Ethernet cable, and switched to WiFi, but nothing seems to work. I managed to reconnect to the printer using its IP address, but it still won't print. Other PCs in the office can print to the same printer without problems. I'm frustrated and even building an old PC to see if that helps. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you tried running a DISM or SFC scan? It may sound silly, but I've had weird printing issues fixed by it before. Just the other day a user had a jerky mouse pointer, and after running those scans, everything was smooth again. A good idea is to also run chkdsk /f for good measure. Might be worth a try!
This sounds more like a tech support issue. Have you checked Printmanagement.msc to see if there are any errors listed there? That might help you sort out what's going wrong.
How is your printer mapped? Are you using a TCP/IP port and the latest driver? I'd suggest downloading the PCL6 version of the driver if you haven't already. Windows sometimes tries to use older drivers that can cause issues. If it still doesn't work after switching the port type and running those scans, you might just want to consider reimaging the device to start fresh and eliminate further complications.
Can your PC print to other printers without issues? That might help narrow down if it’s an issue with Excel or just that specific printer.
Yes, I can print to other network printers, but not from Excel.

I'm doing that now. Thanks!
