I'm having a frustrating issue where I'm unable to rename any folders on my computer. When I check the properties of these folders, they all show as "Read-Only". Even when I try to uncheck that option and click apply, it just resets back to "Read-Only". I've done some digging and it seems there might be a problem with the User Shell data in the registry, but I don't really know what changes I need to make. I've hit a wall, and I'm desperate for any tips or solutions since this is driving me crazy!

I've looked high and low for solutions. Most discussions about this error link it to Windows updates, but for me, it seems to be related to file and folder permissions specifically.

If you're facing permission issues, here’s a helpful resource that dives into it: [this link](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4064529/error-code-0x80004005-when-copying-files-from-one). Check it out!
