I'm having trouble SSHing into my Azure virtual machine. Every time I try, I get the error message stating that port 22 operation timed out. I need help figuring out what might be causing this issue and how to resolve it. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you might not have network connectivity to your VM. Make sure your VM has a public IP address and that you're using it to connect. Also, check your Network Security Groups (NSGs) to see if the SSH port (22) is open. If youโ€™re trying to connect using a private IP, you'll need a VPN or another method to access it.

Definitely check that youโ€™re using the public IP! If everything looks good on that end, double-check your NSGs to make sure port 22 is allowed. Sometimes it's easy to miss those small configurations.
