Hey folks, I just finished building my PC and everything is working fine, except for the audio ports on the motherboard. They don't work at all, and I can only get sound through the case ports. I suspect it might be due to the motherboard's BIOS needing an update. However, when I try to update it, I get an "invalid bios image" error. I've confirmed the motherboard model is B550 AORUS ELITE V2 rev1.0 and I downloaded the update directly from the official site using a properly formatted USB drive. Has anyone faced this issue? Here's the link to the BIOS file I downloaded (F18g version): [https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-V2-rev-10-11/support#dl](https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B550-AORUS-ELITE-V2-rev-10-11/support#dl). I also tried the F18d version but got the same message. Any advice?

Make sure you're extracting the BIOS file from the zip before copying it to the USB drive. Sometimes it causes issues if it’s still in the compressed format. Double-check that it's just the .bin or .rom file on there!
Are you sure you're using the correct motherboard name and revision number? It’s best to double-check the details directly off the board itself to avoid any mix-ups. Sometimes that can lead to compatibility issues with BIOS updates.
I verified it directly from the physical motherboard text.

Yes, I am extracting it directly to the USB drive.
