Hey everyone! I'm about to buy a new PC specifically for gaming and I've received two quotes from a systems integrator. I'm trying to decide which build is the better option. Here's what I'm looking at:
**Build 1:**
- **Processor:** AMD R7 9700X up to 5.50GHz 8C 16T
- **Motherboard:** MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi DDR5
- **Cooler:** Corsair 360mm CF360 RGB B
- **RAM 1:** Gskill 16x1 Ripjaws S5 5200Mhz 16GB DDR5 CL40 B
- **RAM 2:** Gskill 16x1 Ripjaws S5 5200Mhz 16GB DDR5 CL40 B
- **GPU 1:** Sapphire RX 9060XT Pulse 8GB
- **Storage 1:** WesternDigital 1TB SN7100 Black Gen4 NVMe
- **PSU:** Deepcool 750W GS PN750D Gold ATX 3.1
- **Cabinet:** Corsair 4000D Frame RS ATX TG RGB 3F B
**Build 2:**
- **Processor:** AMD R7 9700X up to 5.50GHz 8C 16T
- **Motherboard:** MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi DDR5
- **Cooler:** Corsair 360mm CF360 RGB B
- **RAM 1:** Gskill 16x1 Ripjaws S5 5200Mhz 16GB DDR5 CL40 B
- **RAM 2:** Gskill 16x1 Ripjaws S5 5200Mhz 16GB DDR5 CL40 B
- **GPU 1:** Zotac RTX 5060Ti Twin Edge OC 8GB B
- **Storage 1:** WesternDigital 1TB SN7100 Black Gen4 NVMe
- **PSU:** Deepcool 750W GS PN750D Gold ATX 3.1
- **Cabinet:** Corsair 4000D Frame RS ATX TG RGB 3F B
Keep in mind that Build 2 is about INR 10K (approximately 115 USD) more expensive. I'm opting for a pre-built solution to avoid the hassle of DIY and I'll have a 3-year doorstep warranty. Any thoughts on which build might be better? Thanks!

You might want to be careful with both builds. The 9700X is a bit underwhelming paired with those low-end GPUs. For a better gaming experience, consider upgrading to a higher VRAM variant like the RX 9060 XT 16GB or a 5060 Ti 16GB. Also, don’t forget about faster RAM— DDR5 6000 CL30 would be ideal. The cooler is quite the overkill too; a solid air cooler could save you some cash. Building it yourself could actually net you better performance for less money in the long run! This isn't ‘buy-a-PC’; it’s ‘build-a-PC’!
Should I upgrade to a 16GB graphics card and stick with the 9600X CPU? I want to avoid any upgrades for the next few years. I’m looking for 2K gaming and daily use without any streaming or rendering, so I'd appreciate your thoughts!
