Help Choosing Between Two Power Supplies

I'm stuck deciding between two power supplies: the Chieftec Vega M 850W and the XPG Core Reactor II VE 750W. My current setup is running an RX 9070 and a Ryzen 5 5600X. Both PSU options are rated A tier according to the tier list, and I've heard that the XPG has better internal components. However, I'm not sure if it's worth sacrificing 100W of power for it. I'm also considering upgrading my CPU to AM5/LGA1700 in the near future, so I'm wondering if 750W will provide enough headroom. Both PSUs are priced the same, so I'm looking for some advice.

Yeah, both options are more than enough for what you've got! If quality isn't a big difference, I'd lean toward the 850W just for the future-proofing. You might want the extra power down the line, especially if you're looking to upgrade.

I prefer XPG's products, but since both PSUs are highly rated, the extra headroom with the Chieftec is probably the better option for future upgrades.

750W should be sufficient for your setup. But honestly, either PSU is likely overkill since your system will only draw around 350-400W at full load.

If both are considered high quality, I'd definitely go for the 850W. It's always better to have a bit more wattage as a safety net for potential upgrades later, especially since you're eyeing a CPU change.

Honestly, you might want to look at Corsair or Seasonic too, they're usually great options for power supplies if you haven't already considered them.
