I accidentally disabled my WiFi and sound systems after messing with some startup apps and changing my PC's performance settings for gaming. After restarting my PC, I couldn't connect to WiFi or get sound from my speakers, which are wired. I've tried enabling all the startup apps again and even reset my PC, but nothing seems to work. I made sure to check all the cables and power sources too. Can anyone suggest a solution? I've also asked for help on TikTok.

Along with what TechieTom99 mentioned, check the startup-type setting in the System Configuration and set it to Normal, then restart your device. Make sure those essential services like Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Windows Connection Manager are also set to "Automatic" and currently running. If you have any issues resetting the services back, just let me know!
You should check the "Services" app in Windows. Make sure these services are running and set to "Automatic": WLAN AutoConfig, Windows Audio Endpoint Builder, and Windows Audio. If the WiFi adapter isn’t showing in the Device Manager or is disabled, you’ll want to enable it. Also, try searching for mmsys.cpl; in the "Playback" tab, right-click in the empty space, check options, and make sure your speakers are enabled and set as the default device. Let me know how it goes!
