I'm having a frustrating issue with my Microsoft email. It was recently compromised, so I changed my password without any trouble. However, when I tried to log in after resetting my password, I got a message saying 'You have been blocked from signing in for too many attempts.' This happened right after I had just reset the password. Now I'm unable to access urgent financial details stored in my email, and every time I try to get support, I hit a wall because I can't log in. I've already called Microsoft, but they just directed me to their support website, which is pretty useless since it requires me to sign in. It's been over 24 hours, and I'm at my wit's end. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to regain access? I also want to move all my emails to another provider and ditch Microsoft altogether.

It sounds super frustrating! Have you tried waiting a few hours and then attempting to log in again? Sometimes the block can reset after a short period. If you really need immediate access, you could try reaching out to Microsoft on social media; sometimes they respond faster there.
I totally get your frustration. You might want to try using different devices to log in, or clearing your browser cache before trying again. If that still doesn’t work, think about looking for any non-login related customer support options that don't require signing in.
I hadn't thought about clearing the cache. I'll definitely give that a shot!

Good idea! I've seen people get help quickly on Twitter. Just make sure to explain your situation clearly.
