Help Me Build My First PC on a Budget

I'm looking to build my first PC but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm based in Canada, and it seems like all the build guides I find are in USD, which makes it hard to stick to my budget of around 1500 CAD. I'm a console player trying to switch over, and I've watched tons of videos but still feel lost. I want to go to a local electronics store and know exactly what parts to buy, but I'm unsure about what I need. I have a basic understanding of how it all works, but I could really use some guidance. Any tips would be appreciated!

To help you out with a parts list, I need to know a bit more about what you're looking for. Specifically:
1. What country are you buying from? (I guess Canada since you mentioned it)
2. What's your maximum budget in CAD? Does that budget include peripherals like monitors or keyboards?
3. Do you have any preferences for the look of your build? For example, do you want it to be black or white? RGB lights or none? Any specific features or brands in mind?
4. What games are you planning to play, and what resolution do you prefer? Are you also considering productivity tasks?

Answering these will help narrow down the right parts for you!

Okay, here’s what I can share:
- Preference: I’d like a black case, no RGB lights, and something that isn’t too flashy unless it doesn't cost a lot more. I just want to make sure everything fits and works well together.
- For gaming, I prefer to play at 1440p with a refresh rate of 120 to 144Hz, but if it's too pricey, I’m okay with 1080p at 120Hz. I enjoy games like Marvel Rivals, GTA, and RPGs like Elden Ring and Dark Souls. I'm really aiming for the best performance for my budget!
