Help! Microsoft Edge won’t launch after a PC restart

I was working on a video in Capcut when I started getting notifications about insufficient space on my PC. I ignored these messages a couple of times, but then the app started having issues. I tried to close it, but somehow it registered that I wanted to close Google Chrome instead, which then wouldn't open anymore. I already had a game running on Microsoft Edge, and that was fine, so I decided to restart my PC, thinking it might fix everything. After the restart, neither Google Chrome nor Microsoft Edge would open, but other applications like Capcut were still working. I checked the task manager but couldn't see either browser running, which was odd. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall Chrome, which eventually worked but wiped all my work-related logins, which was a major hassle. I really need to get Microsoft Edge working again without having to reinstall it, especially since it had important tabs open with unsaved work. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you should first check your system resources in the task manager. Sometimes, if you're low on RAM or if your disk is overloaded, apps like Edge might struggle to open. Keep an eye on your RAM usage; if it's high, that could definitely explain the issues.

Just checked my RAM and it's sitting at 78%. It mentions SSD on the Disk tab too. Does that seem okay? By the way, everything’s in French as I'm Canadian, so just let me know if you need any translations!
