Hey everyone! My boyfriend and I moved about a month ago, and ever since then, his monitors aren't displaying anything from his PC. The PC powers on, but it seems like it just won't connect to the displays. We've tried different cables, but the monitors still don't show anything from his PC. Interestingly, the monitors work fine with my PC. His setup is pretty old, so I'm considering just getting him a new one. I'd really appreciate any advice on how to troubleshoot this display issue or thoughts on whether I should just go ahead and build him a new setup.

Have you tried using the integrated graphics? If his PC has that option, it might help with displaying. If not, check if there's a different graphics card you can use instead.
If one monitor is working with HDMI and the other isn't, it could be a cable issue. Make sure the non-working monitor isn't using a different connection type that's not compatible. You could also try swapping out the cables or see if his GPU has another HDMI port.
Sometimes when you move your PC, the GPU and memory can get a bit loose. It's worth it to unplug and replug them to ensure everything's connected properly. A little jostling while moving can misalign things.
