Help! My ASUS ROG Strix G713PI USB-C Ports Suddenly Stopped Working

Hey everyone, I'm really struggling with my ASUS ROG Strix G713PI. After dealing with two repairs for an onboard GPU issue, my laptop was finally operational. However, out of nowhere, both of my USB-C ports have stopped functioning. Just yesterday, everything was working great—my external SSD, dongle, and USB hub were all fine. But now, after my school day, I can't get the USB-C ports to detect anything at all, including my external drive. I've tried a full shutdown with a power button reset, different cables and devices, and confirmed that the USB-A ports still work without issues. Windows doesn't recognize anything when I plug into the USB-C ports, and I can't see any damage. I also checked Armoury Crate, but it doesn't show any settings for the USB-C on this model. Interestingly, USB-C devices work perfectly on other computers. I have a feeling the USB-C controller might be malfunctioning, but I'm hoping for a software or firmware fix. Any suggestions before I have to send this laptop back for repairs again? I'm really close to giving up on it after all the hassle and costs involved.

Have you tried updating the BIOS firmware? Sometimes that can resolve issues with ports not working properly.

I just got my laptop back from repair about six days ago, and everything is already up to date. I checked through MyAsus, and it says I'm good to go.

Just to clarify, are the USB-C ports on the front or the back of the laptop? If they are on the front, the connector might have come loose during the repair.

The USB-C ports are actually at the back of my laptop, and the side has two USB-A ports.
