Help! My Blue Yeti is Making a Weird Fish Tank Noise

I've been experiencing a strange issue with my Blue Yeti microphone where it creates a faint background noise that sounds like running water or a fish tank. This isn't related to my voice; it's an actual water-like sound in the recording. This problem started unexpectedly, as I recorded fine just a couple of days ago. My microphone is connected to my laptop, which usually has a fan running due to overheating, but that's always been the case, so I'm puzzled about why this noise suddenly appeared. I've posted for help before, but it got removed, which has made me quite frustrated since I spent a good amount on this mic. Any assistance would really mean a lot!

Have you tried restarting your laptop and checking if all programs are closed? Sometimes a fresh start can help with weird audio issues. Also, testing it with different recording software might reveal more about the problem.

It sounds like it could be a grounding issue. If you're using a laptop, try flipping the power plug around—unplug it, turn it 180 degrees, and plug it back in. It might help eliminate some of those random noises.
