Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my computer today. It boots up normally, but when I enter my password to log in, the screen goes dark, leaving only the mouse visible. The mouse can be moved around, but nothing else works. After a bit, the locked screen pops back up, and the same thing happens over and over. Is there a way to fix this?

What version of Windows are you using?
Funny enough, I had the same issue. I just unplugged the power cable and plugged it back in, and it worked right after! No idea why, but it did the trick.
Have you tried opening Task Manager with Ctrl+Shift+Esc? If you can get it open, try to manually start explorer.exe. Just go to 'Run New Task' and type in explorer.exe. If your desktop appears, you might want to properly shut it down and restart.
