Help! My Files Are Ransomware-Encryped but I Can Still See Them!

Hey everyone! I've run into a bit of a mess with some ransomware that seems pretty subpar. My secondary hard drive doesn't show its files properly anymore because they're marked as "encrypted," but I can still access them using WinRAR. Is there any way I can recover these files easily? Any advice would be appreciated!

If you think your computer might still have some malware, definitely look into a malware removal guide! It’s crucial to clean up your system first before trying to recover anything. Prevention is better than cure, right?

It sounds like you might not be able to extract your files easily. The fact that you can see the file names in the encrypted archive doesn't mean they're recoverable. Unfortunately, that's pretty common with ransomware. You'll want to be cautious and consider your options.

Yeah, it's a red flag when you can only see the names but not access the files themselves. I'd recommend checking out some dedicated ransomware repair tools or forums for more specific advice.
