Help! My iPhone 12 is acting weird after some drops and a water accident

Hey everyone! I'm having some trouble with my iPhone 12. I've been using it for a while with no issues, but this past week has been a bit rough. I dropped my phone a couple of times pretty hard, and then I accidentally dropped it in the bathtub. I swear, I'm normally not this clumsy—it's just been one of those weeks!

At first, everything seemed fine, but a few days later, it started flashing randomly while I was watching a YouTube video. I thought it was just the video, but then my screen kinda went haywire and turned yellow and green, except for a small corner that's still okay.

Now, I can only see enough to send texts, but that's about it. I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this or at least make it more usable. I've already made my text bold, which helped a little. I've heard Apple has some contrast settings, but I'm not sure if those will do anything. Should I just bite the bullet and get a new phone? My mom is really upset, and I'm not sure if it's the right time to spend on a new one.

You might want to take out the SIM card and try drying out your phone with a hairdryer on the cool setting. Sometimes moisture gets trapped in the display ribbon, which can cause issues like this. I've seen it happen with Samsung phones, but I think it can happen with iPhones too. Good luck!

Isn't the SIM card just for data? And since it’s been two days since the water incident, would it still be wet? Is that even the same for iPhones?
