I'm having a major issue with my iPhone 8 Plus. I can't afford to get a new phone, and after trying to fix some storage problems, the Apple support team advised me to back up my data to my laptop and then wipe my phone. I did this, but now I can't restore my iCloud data. Even worse, my phone is stuck in a setup loop. Every time I enter my password, it just takes me back to selecting my preferred language. I've spent hours trying to fix this on my own by removing the SIM card and experimenting with settings, but nothing works. I can't even contact Apple support for help because I can't authenticate myself without another Apple device. I'm at university, away from family, and I don't have any money for expensive solutions. Any advice would be super appreciated, especially since I'm not very tech-savvy!

If you got a 'storage full' error when restoring, it sounds like your laptop might not have enough space left. You might need to delete some files there. But before anything else, please try the force restart that GadgetGuru suggested. It might solve your problem with minimal hassle!
If you're stuck in the setup loop, you should try a force restart. Just press the volume up button, then the volume down button, and then press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds until you see the Apple logo. That might kick your phone back into working order! Let me know if that helps.
Can you tell us what error message you got when trying to restore your backup? Knowing that could help pinpoint the issue. It might also help to free up space on your laptop before attempting again. But first, definitely try the force restart!
