I'm trying to update my iPhone 15 using my MacBook, but I keep hitting a wall at the verification step with the error message: "The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (100). 06A6.0064." I've attempted this multiple times, restarted my Mac, and even force restarted my iPhone, but nothing seems to work. Now I'm worried since it's prompting me to erase all content. Is there any way to fix this?

It looks like your Mac isn't on the latest version. You should update to Ventura 13.7.8 or even consider upgrading to Sonoma or a newer version. If you're not regularly backing up your data to iCloud or Finder, it could be risky since erasing your device will mean losing everything if you need to restore it.

I did update to 13.7.8, but now the situation's worse! My laptop disconnects from my iPhone after the error message, and I don’t even get the option to erase all content and settings. What should I do?
