Help! My Laptop is Acting Strange and Selections Keep Moving

I'm having a weird issue with my laptop where the selections are automatically moving from left to right and then going to the next line, almost like it's reading a book. I've tried a few things to fix it: I cleaned the arrow keys, checked for viruses using free Avast antivirus, and looked for any unusual activity in the task manager, but nothing seems out of the ordinary.

I’ve heard that Avast can sometimes be overly aggressive or cause issues on systems. You could try using Windows Defender instead and see if that helps. TechWiz42: Yeah, I read that Windows Defender is more integrated with Windows. I'm curious to see if that changes anything!
