Help! My laptop keeps crashing with a BSOD error when using Photoshop with GPU acceleration

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating issue. Whenever I try to use Photoshop or Illustrator with GPU acceleration enabled, my laptop crashes and I get a blue screen error that says 'Critical Process Died'. Interestingly, I can play games like The Crew Motorfest without any problems, so it seems like the GPU is functioning fine during gaming sessions. I've tried running several tests: the CPU and GPU passed, but I encountered the same BSOD while running a test on the SSD. It's showing 87% health, and I've also noticed that no dump files are created when these crashes happen. Here are my laptop specs: MSI GF63 Thin 9SC, Intel Core i5-9300H, NVIDIA GTX 1650 Max-Q with 4GB, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD running Windows 11 Pro. I'm looking for suggestions on whether this could be an SSD issue, a driver problem, or something else altogether.

It sounds like the problem might be related to your SSD since it crashed during the testing. Adobe products are known to rely heavily on temp storage, so if there’s an issue with the SSD, that could definitely cause problems when using those apps. If you can, try setting Photoshop to use an external drive for its scratch disk and see if that resolves the issue.

Thanks for the tip! I don't have another SSD to try right now, but I’ll definitely switch the scratch disk to an external drive and see what happens.
