My laptop keyboard is acting really strange. It seems like most of the keys aren't working, especially after a small drop of sparkling water hit it while I was drinking. For example, the F6 key, which is supposed to unmute my audio, won't work at all, and my left arrow key is all messed up. Pressing 'b' or '5' gives me weird outputs like 'by' or 'bt5'. I can't afford to get it repaired or buy a new laptop, so I'm hoping for some advice on what to do next.

Thanks for the update! It seems like you still have some keys working. If you can use the number keys, you might be able to navigate with those and copy/paste with a mouse. Not ideal, but it could help you get by until the keyboard gets fixed.
Totally understand that you can't shell out money for a repair right now. A temporary solution might be to buy an external keyboard and mouse. They’re usually pretty affordable and could save you a lot of hassle while you figure something out.
It sounds like that drop of water really did a number on your keyboard. Have you considered just drying it out with a hairdryer on a low setting? Just be careful with the heat because it can also cause more damage if you’re not careful.
I get where you're coming from! It might be tough with the keyboard acting up. As for that F6 key not working, it's often a sign that water damage has occurred. You can try taking the laptop apart to dry it out, but that can be risky if you're not experienced.
