Help! My Laptop Only Boots to BIOS – No Boot Options Available

I'm having a really frustrating problem with my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025 model). The other day, while I was using DaVinci Resolve, my laptop suddenly shut down. Now, it only boots into the BIOS, and I can't see any boot options. The BIOS does recognize all my hardware like the CPU, GPU, and RAM, but my Windows 11 drive is missing from the boot menu. I've even tried using a USB drive with the Windows installation media, but none of the repair options seem to work. Has anyone dealt with something like this or have suggestions on how to fix it without having to reinstall Windows and risk losing my data? I'd really appreciate any help!

If your drive is showing in BIOS but not as a boot option, it doesn’t necessarily mean it's dead. Still, a clean install may be your only option if the repair tools aren't working. Just make sure to back up your files first using a live OS USB before proceeding to delete any partitions. It's a hassle, but it might be your best bet to get your system back!

It sounds like your laptop might be having some serious issues. First, it’s good to check if your drive is actually dead. Sometimes, when BIOS detects hardware components but not the OS, it could mean that the hard drive isn’t working correctly, or the OS itself might be corrupted. I recommend trying to boot from a live USB (like a Linux distro or Hiren's Boot CD) to see if you can access your data that way before doing anything drastic. If your data is safe, then you could consider a clean install after backing everything up.
