Help! My Legion 5 is Saying No Nvidia Drivers Installed

I've recently encountered a major issue with my Legion 5 15ACH6H, which I purchased in 2022. My games have suddenly become extremely laggy, and I initially thought this was due to some addons I had installed. However, upon checking, the Nvidia app indicates that there are no drivers installed. I attempted to download and install the latest driver update, but despite the download completing, it still claims that no drivers are installed. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this? My gaming experience is pretty much ruined!

This might be a sign of hardware failure, but sometimes Nvidia driver issues can be resolved by doing a clean Windows installation. Make sure to back up your important files, then create a bootable USB to reinstall Windows. If you still run into the same problem after that, you might have to face the possibility that your graphics card is toast.

First, try opening Device Manager and look under Display Adapters. This will show you which GPU you have. After that, head to Nvidia's website and download the drivers specifically for your GPU. Don’t forget to get the drivers for any integrated graphics as well, depending on whether you have an AMD or Intel CPU.
