Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating problem on my Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3. It used to run games smoothly without any issues, but after about a year, I've started experiencing dramatic FPS drops while gaming. Initially, everything works fine for around 30 minutes, and then the FPS suddenly plummets to just 1 or 2, only to bounce back and then drop again. I suspect it's thermal throttling, but I've already tried several fixes without any success. I'm looking for advice on what to do next, as this is now affecting all the games I play.

What have you tried so far to fix the issue? Knowing that could help narrow down other solutions for you.
You might want to consider taking it to a professional shop to get it cleaned out and have the thermal paste reapplied. It's also a good idea to check for driver updates, as that can sometimes resolve overheating issues.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that. Thanks for the suggestion!
