Hey everyone! I need some help here. I got this MSI Stealth laptop from a friend, but there's no Windows 10 on it due to some corrupted files. I have two USB drives that are both set up with Windows 10 using the Media Creation Tool—one is an external SSD and the other is an old SSD from an upgrade I did on my other laptop. However, I'm stuck in a BIOS loop. If I manage to get out of the loop, it prompts me to "insert boot media in selected boot device", but neither USB shows up despite pressing any key. Sometimes it seems to try installing Windows 10 but fails due to formatting issues on all drives listed. I switched the format to GPT, but that didn't help. Could it be that I need to format it to MBR instead? I'm really anxious because this laptop cost me $1,300, and I don't want to see it go to waste! 😢

One option you might want to try is removing the SSD and placing it in a caddy. From there, you could clone a known working version of Windows onto it, and then put the SSD back into your laptop. It could bypass the whole BIOS loop situation!
