Help! My New Build Won’t POST and USB Ports Have No Power

I've recently put together a new build using parts from Microcenter. Here's what I'm working with:

- AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
- ASUS X870-P Prime WiFi AM5 motherboard
- G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM
- Samsung EVO 500GB M.2 SSD
- Asrock Radeon 9070 XT graphics card
- MSI 1000W power supply

However, I'm running into issues where it won't POST at all, and I'm not getting any power to the USB ports. I've already tried some troubleshooting steps like using minimal peripherals, changing the RAM setup, trying a different power supply, and even updating the BIOS. I've noticed that there are reports of this motherboard having compatibility and quality control issues, so I'm starting to think it might be the culprit. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

I have the same motherboard and had a smooth experience after flashing the BIOS, so it sounds like something might be off with your setup. Make sure all your connections are snug and check if the CPU is seated correctly. Sometimes, it can be tricky with newer boards.

Did you format your M.2 SSD before installing it? Since you mentioned there are no POST signals, I’m curious about what happens when you try to boot. Are there any error messages, or are you completely unable to access the BIOS? Also, which USB ports are dead—the rear ones on the motherboard or the front panel connectors?

Yeah, I wiped the SSD before the install. Unfortunately, there’s nothing noticeable happening at startup—just fans and RGB lights, but no display or beeps. Seems like nothing from the USB either. Really frustrating!
