I recently completed my first PC build with the following components:
- Gigabyte RX 9060 XT GPU
- 2x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600 CPU
- Asus A520m Plus Wi-Fi Motherboard
- Thermaltake Tough Power 750W Gold PSU
However, I'm facing a frustrating issue where my monitor isn't displaying anything after I power it on. The GPU and motherboard lights up with RGB, and the fans spin, but there's no image. I've connected the monitor via HDMI to the GPU, and I've checked the monitor and cable with another device—they work fine. I've already tried reseating the RAM and clearing the CMOS, but nothing seems to help. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

One thing to check is if your motherboard needs a BIOS update for the Ryzen 5000 series. If that's the case, you can do a BIOS flashback to update it. However, that's less likely the root of your problem. A more common mistake is plugging the monitor into the motherboard instead of the GPU. Just to clarify, the Ryzen 5600 doesn't have integrated graphics, so it won't work if the monitor is connected to the motherboard!

How can I check if I need to update the BIOS? I made sure to connect my monitor to the GPU.
