Help! My new PC powers up but won’t show anything on the monitor

I'm currently building my second PC, and I'm running into some issues I didn't have with my first. Here's my setup: ASUS TUF Gaming B850 pls WIFI motherboard, ASUS Radeon RX 9070 XT Prime OC GPU, an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, 32GB of Crucial Pro Overclocking DDR5-6000 RAM, and a be quiet! 850W PSU. When I power it on, everything seems to be working (though the GPU fans don't start – should they?), but I'm not getting any video output to my monitor. All parts are brand new, including the hard drive. I've tried booting with and without a Windows bootstick but still no signal. I've checked the RAM placement, and it's secure. For powering the GPU, I used two separate cables for the 3 8-pin connectors since I couldn't fit a third one from the PSU. I've visually checked the components and they seem fine, but plugging in the monitor directly to the motherboard also yields no result. Any advice?

Try connecting your monitor to the motherboard's HDMI port instead of the GPU. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D has an integrated GPU, so this might help you see if the system is actually trying to POST. If there’s still no display, then the issue could be with the motherboard, RAM, or CPU.

Good point! Just make sure your PSU is adequate for everything you've got. Is your 850W PSU brand new for this build?
