I recently upgraded from an RX 6700 XT to a new RX 7800 XT, but I'm not getting any display on my monitor. I didn't uninstall the old drivers because they were up to date with the Adrenaline software, and I assumed it would be a simple plug-and-play situation since both cards are from the same family. Strangely, my motherboard isn't showing any error codes or flashing lights, it's just a black screen. Should I reinstall the drivers using my old card or is there something else I should try? Thanks for your help!

You should still see something on your display even without drivers since the BIOS relies on basic video functionalities. Make sure that all the power plugs for the 7800 XT are securely connected. Also, could you share the other specs of your PC?

Yes, everything is connected! It has 2x 8-pin connectors going into the card. My other specs are a Ryzen 9 5900X, a Corsair 750W PSU, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Tried all the ports on the GPU too, just in case.
