I recently bought a Nokia 2660 flip phone and inserted my SIM card, but it's not working at all. I'm in the UK, and I purchased the phone from Amazon, where it appeared to be unlocked. Everything else seems fine with the phone, but I'm really frustrated that I can't make calls because my SIM card isn't recognized. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Have you checked if your phone can find the network? Also, make sure that you have the correct version of the phone. If it's a US version, it might not work in the UK. It's also worth confirming that your network provider supports this model. Let me know what you find!
Sounds like your Nokia is trying to be difficult! But seriously, it could just be a compatibility issue. If you've confirmed that the phone is EU version and your provider supports it, you might need to try reinserting the SIM or even testing it with a different SIM. Sometimes it's just a minor glitch.

It doesn't even recognize my SIM card. It says there's nothing inserted! I'm just trying to make a call here. I believe it's an EU version since it came with a UK charger. My network provider should be compatible because a few others with the same model are using it without issues.
