About a year ago, I built a PC that only worked with a wired connection. Everything was fine until yesterday when it stopped connecting. Now, my PC is showing an error message saying it can't find the DHCP server. I've never been able to connect wirelessly on this PC. The Ethernet cable works perfectly fine with my Xbox, so I'm not sure what's going wrong here.

It sounds like your router isn't assigning an IP address to your PC, which can happen if something's not set up right. Try this:
1. Press **Windows key + X** to open the menu.
2. Select **Device Manager**.
3. Look for **Network adapters** and see if your Ethernet or LAN is listed there or if there's a yellow triangle next to it. Let me know what you find!
I was puzzled by your mention of ‘lane cap’ too—did you mean your LAN cable? Just clarify what happened with the cable; it’ll help us troubleshoot better!
